Anyone whov'e caught the Olympics opening on national tv yesterday, im pretty sure u were WOW-ed like hell!!!!!!!!!Well at least i remembered my jaws dropped frequently throughout the good 4hrs Live telecast! And for the show so OWNED the world that my memory's still as fresh of the scenes as ever! It OWNED the world BIG time. At that moment, i just felt like this small puny tiny weeny squiny hiny nitty teety little thing sitting infront of some god-forsaken tv set...I honestly think after this Olympics show, USA will shiver & cringe.
From the drummers to the kungfu fighters to the sexyback black-suit painters who danced and painted oh-so-beautifully, to those bouncing human boxes who manoeuvred themselves up & down so strategically yet gracefully.....Trust me...all was aesthetically magnificant. According to the Straits Times, they referred to the onceinalifetime event as an Extravaganza........so if u haven't watched it.............hmm...........Aiyo so poorthing...

Anyway, today while watching our very own National Day Celebration on tv, i couldn't help but hate the Olympics for falling on 8thAug'08. Because of that, i didn't and couldn't(i tried!) enjoy our NDP celebration wholeheartedly. It seemed so 'Lame' beside China's Olympics can! wa liews! When the camera filmed a full view of the audience in the "Bird Nest", it felt as if 1 bird nest stadium = one s'pore. Poor NDP'08 oraganisers...They Must be hating the olympics til dead now lol! But whatever it is, no doubt the Beijing show was a major hit and i love it for life! 3Thumbs-up for Beijing olympics!
